Siying Guo (she/her) is an M.A. candidate in the Translation and Localization Management Program, with the focus on localization management. She was born and raised in Guangzhou, Canton, China. In her senior year when she was an undergraduate, she came to the United States as an exchange student, majoring in English literature and global studies. She went to MIIS after she finished her exchange program and graduated from Jinan University with a B.A. degree in Translation Studies. After first learning about DLINQ from her mentor, she researched DLINQ to learn more about its mission and the opportunities that it provides. Then jumped at the opportunity to become an intern when a position opened on Handshake. What draws her into the DLINQ Intern position is her interest in helping others and improving her own digital fluency. While her expertise lies in website design and video editing, she hopes to establish friendly relationships with colleagues, learn digital skills, and help others improve their own digital fluency while at DLINQ.
Why DLINQ: Siying is interested in helping others and improving her own digital fluency.
