I joined the team as a multimedia/curricular technologist in June of 2013. In my role at Middlebury I work with faculty, students and staff as they integrate technology use throughout the curriculum.
Prior to arriving at the College I worked as an English teacher at the Hannaford Career Center in Middlebury. It was during this time that I began to focus my study on technology use in the classroom as well as assisting students to become aware of and cultivate their digital identities. Eportfolios are one area of interest. You can view mine here! I completed my M.Ed. at Northeastern University with a focus on eLearning and Instructional Design which gave me a unique view of educational technology from a student perspective. This experience has proven to be extremely valuable in my work.
One of the things I like best about my job is getting to talk to faculty about ideas they have for technology use in the classroom, so please don’t hesitate to shoot me an email if you’d like to meet to discuss a question or idea or you can schedule a consultation with me using the option above. I may have additional availability which you can view here.
