Prompt Impact
I found this rather amazing. In this particular site, I could choose “develop concept” or “stick to script.” With the minimal prompt, I chose “develop concept,” and the AI infused a plethora of visual details about the flowers, the kitten’s state of mind, and so on. The video included music. Then I asked it to do the second miminal prompt and stick to the script. In this instance, it focused on details about the driveway, adding visual features like a fence, a garden along the side, and visually interesting stones and rocks.
For the maximum prompt, the video was consistent with what I asked for, but was enhanced with many visual details I had not considered. However, the sense that the kitten was lost didn’t really come through. It looked more like he was just enjoying the flowers.
Does it art?
This felt very similar to using design tools, such as Photoshop and InDesign. I could see it being helpful for brainstorming and concept generation. What I was imagining and what it created were not similar. I suspect a lot of skill is need to use these tools well.
