This remote teaching workshop series is intended for Middlebury Language Schools faculty to help orient and prepare for summer teaching. Middlebury faculty from other programs are welcome to RSVP, and attend space permitting.

When creating or using digital materials in your course, you will want to ensure that those digital materials are accessible to the broadest range of learners. There are small steps that you can take in creating digital materials that may have a large impact for your learners. This session will introduce you to several strategies and tools including:

  • using the UDOIT checker in Canvas
  • making accessible PDFs
  • using SensusAccess to convert text to audio
  • live captioning features in PowerPoint and Google Slides.
