This is a flipped online workshop requiring some preparatory steps followed by a Zoom discussion. This session is for instructors who are new to building course sites in Canvas.

  • Complete activities prior to the live session: We invite you to familiarize yourselves with Canvas prior to the Dec. 1 session.
    • Instructions: Before this session, please review the article Getting Started with Canvas and use it to try to create your course sites, explore our template, and think about the content and activities you want to include, and how you might organize them with modules.
  • Live session: The Dec. 1 live session will primarily be used to answer your questions, and demo some of the features of Canvas and how to build up your site. In order to get the most out of the live session, you must complete the asynchronous activities ahead of time.

When you RSVP to this course you will receive details on submitting questions ahead of the session.
