Maps are powerful learning tools! Join us for an exploration of mapping as a data visualization activity across disciplines. We’ll cover these topics and more:
- An intro to the power of mapping and the different skill sets it embodies
- Tools that can be used for mapping and map storytelling (from low-tech offline tools to high-tech online ones)
- Resources for finding existing map data
- Examples of mapping activities in action
We’ll also spend time brainstorming mapping activities based on attendees’ specific learning goals, and engage in Q&A.
