This session will cover the basics of screen recording in Panopto, including:
- providing examples of how videos can be used to support online teaching and learning
- logging in and orienting to Middlebury Panopto platform
- installing Panopto desktop recorder client
- planning a screen recording and preparing media (e.g. slides)
- options for screen recording voice over content (e.g. Powerpoint, Panopto client)
- uploading videos to Panopto for sharing with class
- video sharing and embedding options (Course Hub Panopto folder, embedding in Canvas)
- preview of interactive features: video search, notes, discussion and quizzing
