This session will cover the basics of screencasting in Panopto, including:

  • logging in to Middlebury Panopto platform
  • installing Panopto desktop client
  • planning a screencast and preparing media (e.g. slides)
  • options for screen recording voice over content (e.g. Powerpoint, Panopto client)
  • uploading videos to Panopto for sharing with class
  • video sharing options (Course Hub Panopto folder, embedding in Canvas)
