This session will cover the basics of using Zoom and include effective practices for facilitating real-time (synchronous) student learning in Zoom. Topics to be addressed include:
- locating your personal meeting link
- strategies for quality audio and video
- sharing your screen
- using the chat
- breakout rooms, and
- recording the session
Online Learning Consortium is sharing resources to support member schools that are working on academic continuity planning including this resource for holding live virtual sessions:
Zoom is also doing providing resources and support to equip partners to leverage Zoom in a virtual learning environment. They have created the following documents to assist with this transition, as needed:
