This session will introduce strategies for using the discussion board in Canvas to support meaningful student learning, including:
- creating discussion board activities that generate actual discussion
- how to structure the discussion board to scaffold participation
- options going beyond text-based discussion, and
- how to encourage synthesis and reflection post-discussion
