Panopto is a key tool at Middlebury for producing and hosting screen recording projects and microlectures created by instructors and students. What are some other options for recording and editing video in addition to Panopto?
In this workshop, we’ll introduce you to a variety of tools available to Middlebury faculty and students, help you determine how to choose a tool that meets your instructional goals, and highlight how to do basic recording and/or editing of videos using four of those tools (Canvas built-in Media Recorder, Adobe Premiere Pro, PowerPoint, and Quicktime). We’ll review how to download and use Handbrake, a free video compression software.
